/ OUR FAQS
/ GETTING STARTED
1) What is CORE 704?
CORE 704 is a boutique fitness studio offering high-intensity, low-impact workouts on our customized resistance-based machine, the CoreFORMER.
Our Pilates-inspired method uses slow, controlled movements to challenge your strength, balance, endurance, and stability. Each class is designed to work your muscles deeply while minimizing unnecessary impact on your joints.
2) What is the CoreFORMER?
The CoreFORMER is CORE 704’s customized resistance-based workout machine. It uses a moving carriage, springs, straps, and platforms to create constant resistance throughout each movement.
That resistance helps you engage your muscles from start to finish—and yes, that usually means plenty of shaking.
Slower = stronger. Shaking = changing.
3) Is CORE 704 the Same as Traditional Pilates?
Our method is inspired by Pilates, but the CORE 704 experience brings more intensity.
Classes combine controlled movement, resistance training, strength work, and low-impact cardio for a challenging full-body workout. Expect an athletic, music-driven class designed to build strength and keep your heart pumping.
4) Do I Need Pilates Experience?
Not at all. Everyone starts somewhere.
Our coaches explain each movement, provide form cues, and offer modifications throughout class. New members who want extra time learning the machine and foundational movements are encouraged to begin with CORE 101.
5) Which Class Should I Take First?
Your first class can be a standard CoreFORMER class, but CORE 101 is the best place to start when you want a more detailed introduction.
CORE 101 begins with an overview of the CORE 704 method, the parts of the CoreFORMER, common modifications, and proper form. You’ll then move through many of the foundational exercises used in a regular class.
/ YOUR FIRST CLASS
1) What Should I Expect During Class?
Expect 50 minutes of slow, controlled, high-intensity movement.
A standard CoreFORMER class works your abs, arms, obliques, and legs for a balanced, full-body workout. Your coach will guide you through every transition and cue the most challenging version of each movement before offering modifications.
Your muscles may shake. They may burn. That means they’re working.
2) How Early Should I Arrive?
New members must arrive at least 10 minutes before their first class for a safety demonstration and introduction to the CoreFORMER.
Studio doors lock when class begins, so give yourself enough time to park, check in, and get settled. Once the doors are locked, late entry cannot be permitted.
3) What Should I Wear?
Wear comfortable, fitted workout clothing that allows you to move freely. More fitted clothing can also make it easier for your coach to observe your alignment and provide helpful form corrections.
Bring any personal items you normally need for a workout, and be ready to move, sweat, and shake.
4) Is the Workout Difficult?
Yes—but that’s part of the fun.
CORE 704 classes are designed to challenge you, regardless of your current fitness level. You control your pace, and modifications are always available. Progress comes from staying consistent, moving with control, and choosing the variation that works best for your body.
5) What Happens if I Need a Break?
Take one.
You are always encouraged to listen to your body. Pause when needed, reset your form, and rejoin the movement when you’re ready. Your coach can also help you find an adjustment or modification that feels more manageable.
/ CLASSES AND MODIFICATIONS
1) Can Beginners Take Coreformer Classes?
Absolutely. Our workouts are challenging, but they can be modified for different experience and fitness levels.
Tell your coach that it’s your first class, arrive early for the safety demonstration, and focus on learning the movements rather than trying to perfect everything immediately. Control comes with practice.
2) Can Movements Be Modified for Injuries?
Our coaches provide modifications for many movements and fitness levels. Please tell your coach about any relevant injury, limitation, or concern before class begins.
CORE 704 coaches cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating when you are injured, recovering from a procedure, pregnant, postpartum, or unsure whether the workout is appropriate for you.
3) What Is CoreSTRETCH?
CoreSTRETCH combines the intensity you love with time to slow things down.
The 50-minute class includes approximately 25 minutes of high-intensity, low-impact work for your arms, abs, and obliques, followed by approximately 25 minutes of deep stretching on the CoreFORMER.
We recommend taking a standard CoreFORMER class before attending CoreSTRETCH.
4) What Is CoreAAO?
CoreAAO is a 50-minute class focused specifically on your arms, abs, and obliques.
It’s a great option when you want the CORE 704 intensity while giving your lower body a break. We recommend taking a standard CoreFORMER class before attending your first CoreAAO class.
5) What Is a CoreFORMER MOCK Class?
A CoreFORMER MOCK class follows the standard 50-minute CoreFORMER format and is led by a newer coach nearing the end of the CORE 704 coach training program.
You’ll still receive the full-body, high-intensity, low-impact workout—while helping support the next generation of CORE 704 coaches.
